The oven cooks ok, but the self-cleaning is the awful. Everytime I used the self-cleaning function, it blows the fuse and computer. The service man told me not to use the self-cleaning function because it will continue doing that. One of the main reason I purchased this oven was due to the self-cleaning function. I would not have purchased it knowing you could not use it. I hate cleaning an oven and to think that I still cannot use that feature is terrible. Whirlpool ovens are a joke. Think twice if you plan to use that feature.

This oven was purchased less than a month ago so I haven't had the opportunity to cook many big meals. But I've been pleased with what baking and roasting that I have done. Reviews on the Lowe's site mentioned that the fan was loud and pre-heat took too long. I have not found either to be the case. I only wish the oven racks did not curve up so much at the rear of the oven. It makes the available space on the racks smaller. I have not used the broil or self-cleaning features yet.
The stainless steel exterior is pretty in that the lines are clean and sharp, making for a much neater appearance.

My old oven was 14 years old and white. I wanted all new stainless since I got granite counter tops. I got all new Whirlpool appliances. They look fabulous. I just love the. New fridge, dishwasher, microwave, drop-in stovetop and oven, Sooo happy.

This is the oven that my contracter installed when he built the home a couple of years ago so it's brand new. Has never worked properly but since I very rarely use it (about once a month) I would just keep checking the food, but was not actually broken. Now all of a sudden I go to use the oven and I'm getting a message "Feature Not Available" whether I press Bake or Broil. Of course since it's more than a year it's out of warranty even though the amount of times used is what the average household would do in just a couple of months.

Quite expnsive, but I needed the size. However, this is quite difficult to use in terms of controls which are unintuitive. Also, the odd shape of the rack reduces the oven's capacity!

This is the second oven of the same model. First one kept breaking. Digital board and after running the self clean oven wouldn't work anymore. So after fighting with Whirlpool we got another one after one year. New oven which is 4 months old and ran self clean again and oven will not heat up after running self clean. But fan is running. This is unacceptable that this keeps happening. Unfortunately this is the only oven that fits my wall space in my kitchen or I wouldn't bother with Whirlpool again. I am expecting another argument from Whirlpool over whether this is covered under the warranty. Again buyer beware of this piece of junk.

First, it looks like everyone who reviewed it for it for free or thru sweepstakes! How does that happen? Second, the seems to be identical to oven we replaced which is why I bought it. The old one had a few issues but baked great and I thought it was time for an upgrade. This seems to run way too hot and I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong. I don't have any problems with cleaning it or fan noise. It's just too hot and all of my baked goods are way too dry. I have one of those cheap oven gauges inside but it says it's OK, but it can't be. I've read where it might need to be calibrated but I can't figure out how to do that either. Very frustrated.

We purchased this oven in August 2017 after investigating reliability data for all wall ovens. The oven works as it should, but the fan (for circulation/cooling) is a bit noisy. In June 2018 we cleaned the oven for the first time, and the oven would not work afterwards. We suspected a thermal fuse, but the technician (after communication with Whirlpool) said it needed a new control board. Still didn't work, so the technician replaced the thermal fuse, and all was well. Until we self-cleaned again, when the fuse again blew, rendering the oven unworkable once more.
We contacted Whirlpool Customer Support to no avail. They were polite, but unhelpful.
Their last response was this: "If your self-clean cycle is not operating, you will need to contact service and have them to contact our technical support group for assistance with the repair."
Yeah, we did all that, which is why we have a new control board and two new thermal fuses. But here is where we are: we spent extra money for a self-clean feature that doesn't work. The oven was out of service for 2 weeks or so waiting for the control board, and the thermal fuses. It is frustrating.
We will be wary about buying any Whirlpool appliance going forward.

24in single electric wall oven self-cleaning in stainless steel.
My displeasure with this oven begin with its purchase, upon buying your product it was not explained to me the intricacy of the oven's cleaning process. It appears that I can't use the oven's cleaning process without there being a particular season, or temperature involved. I cook on a regular basis which causes me to have to use the cleaning process regularly, but I have yet to be able to successfully do so. The oven was purchased at home depot on December 23, 2017.
I have had a Whirlpool contracted service technician come to my residence on 3 - 4 occasions to date to repair the oven. This leads me to believe that there is a manufacturing or design flaw with the oven. During the cleaning cycle, the oven gets very hot and is unable to cool itself down causing fuses to blow and possibly damaging the motherboard. I am frustrated because I am unable to use the cleaning cycle on the oven, which is the reason I purchased this oven. I am approaching the necessary date to purchase an extended warranty on the oven. Therefore, I have no alternative, but to try to replace the oven or be forced to extend the warranty. Why should I have to extend the warranty when I have yet to use the oven for the manner it was purchased. I have had to take time off from work on a regular basis due to the continuous problem with my oven. I have taken time off for the service technician to both come over and assess the problem, and later to receive the part and repair the oven. Meanwhile my oven is out of service for up to 3 week waiting on the part.
In conclusion I believe that due to the misrepresentation of your oven, the flaw in its design, and the obvious observation that repairs can't be made on this product and sustained. I need to discuss with someone who can make a determination on my present situation. Which should be, to return this oven to Whirlpool, or discuss replacing this oven with a reasonable replacement. It is apparent that statements of what this oven can do and its functions are improperly represented

Replaced 50 year old wall oven. New one a little narrower and a little taller, but expert installation made necessary modifications to surrounding wood. Had to pay for broiler pan. These used to be included with oven.

I bought this oven a year ago, 1st month I complaint that it wasn't cooking my cakes or meat, told it takes time for it to adjust, told this store over and over again by Lowes! So I called again I finally got them to send a repair guy almost a year later. When you put the oven on 500 it register 250, he said it need several parts after calling for the the completion on repair 2 weeks later, November 10, he put new parts in said it works fine. So that weekend I started getting ready for Thanksgiving baking pies and cakes, 4 says later oven went completely black, check the fuse box and then called an electrician he said the oven was bad. I called Lowe's the November 16, they told me that they couldn't do anything and some will get back with me the Monday after Black Friday, no one called that Monday I called that Tuesday, I got the round around From Lowe's, I finally got hold of Whirlpool after calling six different numbers, they sent me a whirlpool repair person, he had to order several new parts and today he came back a week later and repair said it's ready to use! I'm afraid to use it, my am looking to buy a new wall oven and take this one to the dump, don't want a fire. Customer Service is the worst.

Despite other negative reviews stating otherwise, it does NOT take a long time to heat up, and to does NOT lose a lot of heat when the door is opened to tend to the food inside. The ONLY item of concern is that it does turn off at the end of a timed cycle. But that is easily overcome by simply using the timer on the microwave, and then manually turning off the oven if your food is fully baked. Excellent product, but expensive due to its 24" size.

Purchased this oven in late February 2016. My recommendation is DON'T BUY THIS OVEN. We cleaned it for the second time this week. It blew both thermal couplers. Repairs will cost close to $400.00. Affording this on a fixed income is difficult. To top it off, the Whirlpool repair service does not have the parts (for an oven we have had less that 2 years.) We will have to wait for them to be ordered and shipped....looking at a week to ten days more before it can possibly be fixed.

I purchased my oven in 2015. Because of the size of the area it was a special order. Eye appealing but I have hade issues with the tempered glass cracking twice since I've had it. I don't do much cooking because it's just me. I'm not sure if it was faulty because of the special size...maybe over heating....but it cracked while in use. I contacted the company the 1st time they repaired it in june of 2016. And a year and 3 months later the same thing has happened. They said because they have not had any other complaints they wouldn't repair it. Well I resolve to have it repaired and pay the cost myself. I'M sure in a year or more I'll be replacing another piece of faulty glass or replacing glass because of an over heated faulty oven.
